Works included a bespoke timber frame construction for the large extension - 1,750ft², a high degree of insulation was achieved throughout using best available methods which the client will be able to obtain a grant for. The new roofs comprised of a pitched roof which a saving was achieved on by reusing the existing rooftiles. Standing seam Zinc roofs and a PVC membrane to the flat roof areas.
Inside, a combination of new timber floors and resuse of the existing old boards and a tile which ran from inside to outside. Bathrooms included marble tiling, formed shelves and plinths.
Windows and doors were high quality aluminium with large clerstorys and sliding units giving light and space to the house.
